Description: HapiCell™ Transfection Toxicity Removal Cocktail was our proprietary formulation for effectively eliminating DNA or siRNA transfection mediated toxicity. HapiCell™ Transfection Toxicity Removal Cocktail was developed to contain a mixture of several chemicals which were confirmed to effectively remove DNA/siRNA transfection mediated cytotoxicity. Incubation of sensitive cells (e.g., SaoS-2, HUVEC, primary kerotinocytes, etc) with HapiCell Toxicity Removal Reagent for 2 minutes at RT was confirm to completely remove the transfection related toxicity which otherwise kill the cells. The cocktail was used for chemical transfection only, not for electroporation. HapiCell™ Transfection Toxicity Removal Cocktail, 2.5 ml (x50 stock solution), is sufficient to treat 125 wells for 24-well plate and 63 wells for 6-well plate respectively.
Feature: - Removes transfection mediated toxicity after 2 minutes incubation at RT - Nontoxic to cells - Maintain cell viability - Improve transfection efficiency - Easy to use
A example showing complete removal of transfection toxicity after treatment with HapiCell™ Transfection Toxicity Removal Cocktail on mouse skin fibroblast. A DNA encoding GFP was delivered to mouse skin fibroblasts by Lipofectamine 2000 in absence of serum. Serum-containing medium was changed back 5 hours post transfection followed 2 minutes incubation with (left panel) or without (right panel) HapiCell™ Transfection Toxicity Removal Cocktail. The cell viability was checked under microscope 24 hours post transfection
